Knowlton mobilizes for the Christian Foundation Vachon

On Saturday, February 22, the Knowlton Marina Ice Hockey Tournament on Brome Lake took place for the second consecutive year. They are 12 teams that registered, and all the money raised was donated to the Christian Vachon Foundation. In doing so, the $3,000 donation received will support 5 sponsored students from the Christian Vachon Foundation at Knowlton Academy for the 2019-2020 school year. The GOLD sponsorship of a child is the largest sponsorship offered by the Foundation.

The Christian Vachon Foundation would like to thank the organizer Jaime Moar, Marina Knowlton, West Shefford Brewery, Star Café and Virgin Hill for their involvement in the community.

Pictured are the winners of the Fathers N Sons team in the friendly division. Also worth mentioning are the winners in the competitive division, the Flying Dutchmen team.
