Innovation Prize awarded to the Christian Vachon Foundation

On Wednesday, November 28, we received a major donation from the employees of the Sherbrooke plant who were recipients of the 2018 innovation award in health and safety during the Kruger Center of Excellence.

Indeed, Sherbrooke employees worked 30 months, or more than 2 years (196,448 hours) without injury.

Kruger wanted to highlight this achievement by donating $5,000 to the Christian Vachon Foundation on behalf of Sherbrooke employees.

In doing so, this contribution of $5,000 will support 8 children throughout the current school year. The GOLD sponsorship of a child is the largest sponsorship offered by the Foundation. It provides a child with financial coverage of all their primary and secondary needs from the start of the school year until the last day of school. Kruger's commitment will allow these children to receive clothing , school materials , meal service and registration for activities of their choice .
